Fulfilling the dream Sue’s Story
My journey did not begin in the event industry. I studied business and accounting, even though creativity was always where I felt most at home. Later, after returning to the United States with my family, I earned a master’s degree in education and spent many rewarding years teaching.
As my children grew older, I felt ready to return to the dream I had carried for years.
In 2018, I founded Sue’s Elegant Events, initially designing celebrations for family and friends while building my experience through hands-on work, constant learning, and plenty of trial and error.
Today, I work closely with clients across Boston and New England to create weddings, cultural celebrations, and private events that feel personal, meaningful, and beautifully put together.
